Victoria’s Secret’s first Filipino model has appeared
There is a lot of information in books, on websites and forums about modeling, but it is too confusing for beginners.

1. Take basic photo shoots
What companies or fashion model scouts want to see in the first place are basic photo shoots.
When taking photos, you should wear a suitable outfit that can highlight your body measurements, such as skinny jeans or leggings, a tank top, or a simple t-shirt.
You should take close-up photos of the front and left and right sides. The same goes for body photos, so there should be full-body photos from the front and back.
2. Evaluated by professional organizations
Most fashion models start their jobs because family and friends told them “you should become a model”, they may also be the most beautiful girls, boys in school or win prizes.

3. Find as many opportunities as possible

Try every field, participate in every program and don’t refuse any job opportunity, that’s the way to spread your image.

The term “market” is often related to the geographical aspect in which models work and make a living.
While the supermodels you see in major magazines and on catwalks often work in every market, there are also plenty of fashion models who are successful in one or two markets.

5. As a fashion model, you need to be persistent
Becoming a professional model is a process, it never happens overnight.
Stay positive and remember that just because an agency didn’t select you today doesn’t mean they won’t care about you tomorrow.

6. Use social networks
Luckily we live in the age of technology, because social networks will be a powerful tool to help you easily develop and find more opportunities in your modeling career.
